About Binshare

Making waste disposal affordable again — and cleaning up Britain in the process.

Binshare is a UK-built circular waste marketplace. We connect homeowners and businesses with licensed Waste Carriers, and let neighbours rent out spare bin and skip space. The result: less fly-tipping, lower bills, cleaner streets.

Our mission

A movement for change — one bin at a time.

The UK throws away over 200 million tonnes of waste a year, and spends more than £1 billion cleaning up fly-tipping that happens because legal disposal feels expensive or inaccessible. Meanwhile, half-empty wheelie bins and underused skips sit on driveways across the country.

Binshare's mission is to fix that mismatch — connecting the people who have waste with the people who have space, and the licensed Carriers who can move it. A circular, neighbour-led, hyper-local marketplace, built for the UK and operated from the UK.

We're not trying to replace councils, skip hire or commercial waste contracts. We're filling the gap they leave behind, so fewer fridges end up in lay-bys and fewer people pay over-the-odds to clear a bin-bag of garden waste.

What we stand for

Four principles that shape every product decision.

Fair to everyone

No skip-hire markups, no hidden subscriptions. A flat 5% fee, the same for Customer, Host and Carrier. Money flows where the work happens.

Lawful by default

We verify every Waste Carrier against the UK Environment Agency register before they can bid, and report illegal disposal — that's how we cut fly-tipping at the source.

Circular, not single-use

Half-empty wheelie bins and three-quarters-full skips are everywhere. Sharing them is the simplest way to lower household bills and shrink waste-collection's carbon footprint.

Local first

Binshare is hyper-local by design — neighbours helping neighbours, local Carriers earning more from a tighter round. Stronger high streets, cleaner residential roads.
